Fillers are used to help to restore the soft tissue volume, effectively lifting the tissues and correcting the deflation. Fillers also help to bring back the youthful, smooth, voluminous skin and the sexy plump up lips.
Fillers are injected into the skin of the targeted spot; nose bridge and/or tip, cheeks, lips and tear troughs. This minimally invasive procedure usually takes about 10-20 minutes, and most patients notice visible improvements almost immediately. They can then return to work with little to no downtime with the use of a medicated concealer. Bruising and swelling are usually minimal.

While there are several filler materials available, we use one of the best products in our clinic, Restylane. We use products based on hyaluronic acid (HA), which is naturally and commonly found in our body. It is safe and can be absorbed by the body over time. Depending on the location and technique of the injection, fillers can last anywhere from 9 months to 12 months. Different types of HA with differing viscosity and durability are available and is selected by Dr Leo based on the desired effect, location where correction is needed and individual requests.
Minimal discomfort will be felt during the procedure, and local anaesthetic creams will be applied to numb the area before the procedure. We also numb the area with a special cooling instrument prior to injection to reduce any discomfort. Our fillers are also mixed with local anaesthetic further enhancing the comfort level of patients.
We also offer one of the latest craze from Korea, the skinbooster range of fillers. Here the fillers are injected very superficially using a special machine at a controlled designated depth into the dermis of the skin. Its goal is to lead to hydration of the skin, leading to the glow on the face that patients desire.
